Digital Signage Compliance 2026 – Identifying Risks and Setting Priorities

Compliance is becoming a real management issue in digital signage. Many installations have grown over time but are not fully embedded in existing data protection, security, ESG, or governance structures.

This workshop introduces a structured compliance check model built specifically for digital signage organizations. It covers seven key dimensions – from supply chains, data protection, and sustainability to cybersecurity, cross-border data transfers, and organizational responsibility.

Three practical examples – GDPR, green signage, and software/CMS governance – show how risks can be assessed, prioritized, and turned into clear next steps. Participants leave with more than a general overview: they gain a focused picture of where to act first in their own environment.

The New Relevance of Green Signage

Sustainability is no longer a side conversation in digital signage – it is becoming a defining factor in how networks are designed, deployed and measured.

From energy consumption and hardware lifecycles to content strategies and data-driven optimisation, the industry is being challenged to rethink what “efficient” really means. At the same time, regulatory pressure, corporate ESG targets and rising operational costs are accelerating the shift from ambition to action.

This session brings together industry leaders to explore how green signage is moving from concept to commercial reality. What does sustainable signage look like in practice? Where are the real gains being made? And how can organisations balance performance, cost and environmental impact at scale?
