Matthias Clostermann is founder and head of several companies in the areas of digital content creation and robotics. His creative genius and tech-savviness led to an early career as a special effects artist for German television productions when he was aged only 14. Ever since, his work has been driven by a desire to design not simply entertainment, but wholistic experiences. His themed installations combine digital storytelling with physical sceneries and animatronics, which is also the focus area of his latest enterprise – Living with Robots. Beyond leisure venues, the integrated storytelling concept finds application in education and marketing where, for example, it forges an emotional engagement with environmental issues. In interior and POS design, digital environments overcome the limitations of time and space – thus positively influencing customer experience and dwelling time.
