Mercedes-Benz reimagined the customer journey with MAR2020. It took almost five years for the German premium auto manufacturer to develop, test and eventually roll-out a new showroom concept. Customers entering a showroom will be greeted by a welcome agent, cars are presented on stages with massive digital signage, car configuration takes place in a private meeting space and picking up your car becomes a show. Digital Signage plays an important role but does not dominate the showroom experience. Mercedes Benz has analyzed the movement and behavior of hundreds of customers in a pilot installation.
