Both days of DSS Europe will feature two conference tracks:
Track 1: DooH and Smart Cities
Track 2: Digital Signage and Retail Technology

The overall conference theme for 2017 is ‘Digital Signage at the Crossroads – New Technology, Changing Demand and Market Consolidation’. The conference programme features more than 40 of the world’s leading digital signage experts.

DSS Europe 2017 will feature an expanded exhibition area, showcasing leading digital signage manufacturers and service suppliers.

Visitors now have the option to visit the exhibition-only.

Exhibitors, showcasing the latest digital signage products, services and solutions, will be featured across two floors of the ICM in close proximity to the two conference rooms.

The new, flexible entry pricing policy allows visitors to choose to attend either the exhibition or the conference

DSS Europe is organised by a joint partnership between invidis consulting and Integrated Systems Events.

invidis consulting, headquartered in Munich, is one of the leading European consulting companies for Digital Signage and DooH. This is primarily down to its employees who have in-depth knowledge of the market. The Digital Signage market was still in its infancy when invidis consulting was founded by Florian Rotberg and Oliver Schwede in 2006. The company was quick to recognise its potential and soon began specialising in it as an IT consultancy. invidis consulting has now been operating in the market for more than nine years.

Integrated Systems Events organises, manages and develops leading business-to-business events for the professional audiovisual, electronic systems integration and IT industries. This includes the world’s largest AV and systems show, Integrated Integrated Systems Europe. It was established in 2003 as a joint venture of two trade associations AVIXA and CEDIA, and has grown every year since. With employees engaged in sales, operations, marketing and content development across Europe, it is a truly international company with an international reach.

The 11th edition of Digital Signage Europe will be the biggest ever and will take place in a new, dedicated conference and exhibition venue. The move to the new venue has been driven by two primary drivers. Firstly, DSS had outgrown its previous home and secondly, feedback from attendees, sponsors and exhibitors revealed a keen desire that the event should reach out to a wider base of digital signage and DooH professionals.

The ICM – Internationales Congress Center München is a premium setting. Its elegant architecture, flooded with natural daylight, creates a prestigious atmosphere where guests feel completely comfortable. The ICM is structurally integrated into the Munich Trade Fair Center. At inauguration in 1998, Messe München and the ICM were the most modern exhibition centers in the world. Both venues have proven themselves as international pioneers in environmental and climate protection. In 2008, Messe München was the first trade fair organisation in the world certified as an ‘Energy Efficient Enterprise’ by TÜV SÜD.

Getting to the ICM

The ICM is easily accessible through a range of transport options. The S-Bahn subway at Munich Airport provides a direct route into the city. The ICM can be reached via a 20 minute U-Bahn ride from Munich’s Central Station, the Hauptbahnhof and various other route options. The ICM is served by  the Messesdadt West train station, which is a 10-minute walk from the venue. For those travelling by car or taxi, the ICM is located on the A94.
